Here are Audrey and Phoenix on Thursday morning. Audrey made it a point to try and match whatever Alexis was wearing and have her hair done the same way. It was so cute! Audrey had light colored leopard print pj's that she wore to match Alexis's slightly darker leopard print ones.
Phoenix giving Audrey a hug. Phoenix is so sweet to "baby Lexis" =)
Our plan for the day was to go to the pumpkin farm. I have been to the pumpkin farm a few other times when I was visiting and I knew that Alexis would just love it. That is one of the reasons I wanted to make a trip in the fall! Before we left, Audrey helped Alexis ride one of her old bikes.
Of course Alexis loved it!
When we got to the pumpkin farm we had sandwiches for lunch that Rachel made. Since it was during the week the pumpkin farm was not very crowded at all.
The kids are looking at the fish and the ducks in the water below.
Alexis LOVED all these rabbits! She wanted to pet them and was pretty upset that she wasn't able to. I must also mention that even though Alexis had a decent amount of sleep the night before she was still behind from the first night so she was still a little moody.
I thought Alexis would enjoy playing in the corn but she didn't =(
Phoenix going down the slide!
Alexis did have a good time going down the slide with Audrey.
Alexis was really excited to ride the train. She was perfectly fine right here but seconds later she threw a tantrum. She wanted her water bottle at that very moment and it was in the car. There was no calming her down for basically the whole train ride. She even yelled at Travis at one point. He said, "Choo choo!" and she yelled, "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"
I am disappointed Alexis had her outburst at this point because she loves riding trains and it definitely put a damper on the ride. It was a hard day for Alexis because of the lack of sleep.
We definitely still tried to make the most of it and Alexis did have fun for the most part.
She did really enjoy jumping around on this with Audrey and Phoenix.
There was also a bouncy house.
At the end we went on a wagon ride to this pumpkin field and we were all able to pick out a pumpkin to take home with us. The kids really enjoyed looking at all the pumpkins and figuring out which one they wanted.
Audrey found a little pumpkin for Alexis and Alexis just loved it. She kept calling it her "baby pumpkin."
Overall it was a fun but tiring day!
Alexis fell asleep on the way home.
