I am posting some pictures that I have taken throughout the summer. Alexis was getting ready to go to the park and wanted to wear her hat. She doesn't normally want to wear it!
Alexis is very particular when she colors. She is very good about coloring in the lines and usually picks small items to color. The book she is coloring in has various types of sea creatures and most of them have bubbles somewhere in the picture. She likes coloring the bubbles and I am so impressed with how well she does!

I know I have posted about her "bun' before. She has been really attached to it lately. She puts it down for a nap several times a day and often covers it up with a blanket or sometimes she will go in the cupboard and get out a clean hand towel to use. Sometimes she enjoys having her bun take a nap on the rug by the front door. It is so cute and funny.
There are a few of these rides outside the Carter's store and Alexis always likes to sit on them. I don't usually have any change with me but she is content to just be able to sit on them. She prefers this airplane one.
It can be hard to distract her so I can do her hair. Most of the time it works to let her play with something in the sink with the water running.
Alexis always talks about going on this train. She absolutely loves it but it is so hard to get a picture of her that captures her excitement.
She really enjoyed playing at this little playground one day. She usually wants me to go around with her but she let me sit on a bench and watch. She has her bunny with her and she took it around with her to all the different things. It was really cute.

Alexis loves stickers. If she ever gets any she usually peels them all off the sheet and sticks them on the floor or her car seat. This particular day she decided they would look good on my toes.
It's kind of hard to see what she is doing here but she has a protein bar (she actually does enjoy eating them) and she put string cheese pieces all over the top. She took such care placing the cheese on the bar so they wouldn't fall off.
She requested to have a piece of cheese and then she asked for some sauce. Sauce can mean pizza sauce or jelly. She didn't actually eat this but she enjoyed smearing the jelly all over the cheese. The image of it actually made me a little sick lol
